I’m Trish, and I’ve been sewing for 16 years.

My passion for sewing started when I was an impatient teenager who couldn’t find clothes to fit properly (I stand at a very lengthy 4’10″). After years of shopping frustration, I learned to sew. Hours of ripping out seams, sewing dresses too tight and inserting zippers the wrong way, I was finally becoming good with my craft. Sewing also opened my eyes to the world of design and upon learning that I could make anything my mind dreamt of, I was hooked.

(One of my proudest makes - my wedding dress!)

What I Make

During the start of my sewing journey, I came to love the process of making handbags. Since there was no need to fuss with sizes and fit, making & designing bags became my side hobby in a world I already loved. Over the years I have continued to design and push my skills to create bags I am very proud to sell.

In my spare time I love creating my handmade wardrobe. From making special occasion dresses, to casual everyday wear, I am always adding new pieces to my personal closet and blogging about the process.

My style has changed over the years, and the more I make, the more interested I am in sustainability. The fashion industry creates a lot of textile waste, and instead of contributing to it, I want to use it! I make my bags with reclaimed fabrics and discontinued fabric swatches from local interior designers. My apparel projects are made with deadstock fabrics and secondhand/upcycled materials.
